Eravna (Buryatiya) is planning to start deep wood-processing
In the frames of the project УCreation of forest infrastructure in Eravna regionФ, it has been planned to install two newest Italian modules for deep wood-processing. The project is being carried out by the OOO УBaikal Forest CompanyФ in Sosnovo-Ozersk.
Priorities for the project are: development of lumbering, exploration of new wood processing resources, building of a wood-sawing plant with a projected production up to 150 thousand cubic meters per year, processing of waste into wood-pellets with a projected production of 6 thousand tons per year.
The first stage of the project is under realization, and includes creation of infrastructure in the Eravna region.
УHarvestersФ and УForwardersФ are already functioning in the taiga. According to specialists, raw material will ensure a stable functioning of the plant for the future 48-50 years.
