“RusAgroProject” is sponsoring biodiesel production

Volgograd holding “RusAgroProject” has subscribed an agreement with the German company Abako Menedgment & Corporation Gmbh for financial sponsorship and development of the biodiesel plant.

Project cost is evaluated at 35 Mio Euros. Plans comprise construction of an enterprise, with capacity to process up to 160 thousand tons of raw material per year and with a production capacity around 60 thousand tons of biodiesel and up to 100 thousand tons of oil cake.

The company anticipates the European biofuel market growth, taking into account the UN directive for increase in the biodiesel consumption towards 2010 up to 5,75%.
