Ukraine will produce 6 mln tons of biofuel soon Ц Expert
Ex-head УUkrtransnaftaФ expert in economical problems, Alexander Todiychuk claims that in a year or two time half million tons of biodiesel and ethanol will be produced in Ukraine. He expressed his opinion in his interview for УGlavredФ journal.
УAnd in future Ц up to 6 mln tons yearly. Plus recycling of Ukrainian oil, production volume of which are expected to increase. Our dependence on the suppliers of energy may become just symbolicФ, - he says.
Todiychuk also mentioned that the price for alternative fuel in Ukraine is stabile and rather predictable in its growth. ФFor example, biofuel costs about 3 grivnas per literФ Ц he said.
On the expertТs evidence, about few hundred tons of biofuel are already being produced in Ukraine Ц on mini-plants, in depots, garages Ц under the counter.
