A pellets producing plant has been started up in Archangelsk . The owner of the new enterprise is LLC УEcothermФ. The plant was built on the production site of the former 14th timber mill. The figure of investments into the project including the assembling costs 15 mln euro.
Producing capacity of the plant is 2 tons of pellets in per hour. The enterprise works in four shifts. The primecost of pellet production on the plant is about 80 euro per ton.
The first lot of pellets from Archangelsk will be imported to Sweden.
