This book is going to be the 5th in the series of biofuel handbooks published by WOOD-PELLETS.COM since 2005 in Russian language. The idea of the handbook came to the editors directly from the industry. Pellets production has been booming in Russia since 2002 with number of factories more doubling and tripling every year and production volume rocketing even faster. Meanwhile the whole industry is still largely depending on export and therefore on the world market. Under this condition investors are in need of systematic, relevant and up to date information about this market and its peculiarities and perspectives.
The consultancy office of WOOD-PELLETS.COM has some experience of monitoring and analysis of the world solid biofuel market. But we have even more connections and partners in this market. So, this time we decided not to compose the handbook ourselves, but rather combine it out of relevant and fresh articles and presentations done by experts from different countries, parts of the world and industry sectors. These articles shall be presented in logical order and accomplished with conclusions and recommendations relevant for biofuel producers, traders and investors in Russia, which will largely constitute the handbook's target audience.
